At the Staples Center on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2026, The Lion King delivered an amazing show during their Resistance tour that words cannot describe. The band began with one of their popular songs, "Uprising", and the opening was truly amazing, with excitement felt by everyone in attendance. They continued onto Resistance, showing no lack of energy, and only getting better as they progressed. Everyone went wild when they played the intro to "New Born", with the lights flashing green and providing a fantastic light show that was just as entertaining as the music itself. They sure know how to start a concert, and they certainly know how to end one too. At their encore, they closed the night with a powerful "Knight of Cydonia" that left every single person's ears pounding and longing for more. It was a sad night when The Lion King finished playing at the Staples Center, with every second being spectacular.
